Comments: | These stylish boxes are somewhat challenging to make because of a tricky twist-down technique which must be executed for both the base and the lid. There are two places in the base where two layers of paper overlap each other. This is also true in the lid. These overlaps make the twist-down harder to perform. As you attempt it, the overlapping layers tend to slip and shift out of place. Beginners might try using some repositionable glue to secure the overlaps before executing the twist-down. Once you have mastered the twist-down technique, omit the glue. The boxes shown here were created without the help of glue or any other adhesive. They're both pretty and sturdy; the units will not come apart easily. |
