Comments: | This Aitoh kit, with models by Tomoko Fuse, includes instructions/ diagrams for six different gift boxes, plus six types of paper. The kit features four modular boxes: a triangle, a square, and two types of hexagons. There are also two non-modular boxes: a masu (measuring box) and a tulip cup. I had a lot of fun with this kit, but would not recommend it to absolute beginners because some of the models are very challenging. The hardest are the two hexagons, because of a tricky "twist down" technique needed to construct their bases. It took me a long time to master that technique. |
