Comments:I learned how to make these cute robin boxes by watching a video tutorial on Leyla Torres' web site. It was part of a free multi-day "origami challenge" for which I had signed up. This challenge involved receiving a series of emails with special links to many different tutorials.

Leyla Torres has designed two versions of her robin box. The second version is folded like the first but with a few tweaks at the end. I like to think of these two versions as a mated pair: male robin (left side of image) and female robin (right side).

Both containers will hold lots of small candies or other snacks like almonds, peanuts, or raisins. They would make nice party favors for an Easter celebration or any springtime get-together.
