Comments: | These small boxes are " hybrids" because each combines two different types of origami: modular and non-modular. The lids are modular. Each lid was made by joining together four identical units. The bases are non-modular -- a traditional masu design. Each masu base was made from a single sheet of paper. (Additional paper was needed for the liners and dividers placed inside the bases.) I haven't yet created a special category on this web site for hybrid boxes, so I am putting them with modular boxes for now. |
